This displays all the shares transactions made in the organization in a given period of time. It shows all details about the shares bought, sold, and those transferred both to and from the various members.
How to view the Report on Shares Transactions for a Period
To access this report, go to Shares/Shares Reports/Report on Shares Transactions for a Period and the following screen appears:
Shareholder number: Enter here the Shareholder number or click on the Choose command button to select all shareholders.
Transactions from: Specify the reporting period, e.g. 30/03/2017 to "15/08/2017".
Branch code: Choose a specific branch codethat you want to be reported on from the drop-down or tick the Check for all option to include all branches
Product: Choose a specific share Productthat you want to be reported on from the drop-down or tick the Check for all option to include all products
Grouping/Order: Select from the drop down box how the report to be generated will be classified in the column title/heading, e.g, "Transaction date". The report generated will hence be grouped per loan product.
Transaction types:
Select the type of share information that is to be generated in the report like information for
Shares for Individuals only,
Shares for groups only,
Shares for Business clients only,
You will also have to select the corresponding transaction type i.e. Buying (to report only buying and transferred from, transactions), Selling (to report only selling and transferred to, transactions) or All Transactions (to report buying, selling and both transferred to and from, transactions.)
8. Click on the OK command button to view the report.
N.B: The period transactions are displayed in various formats depending on the option selected.
This could be:
View option to look at the report in preview mode.
Print option to have a hard copy of the report printed out.
Report in PDF file Format option to have the report displayed in Portable document File Format.
Report in XLS file Format option to have the report displayed in Excel file format.
Report in DBF file Format option to have the report displayed in Database File Format.
After previewing Close the Report dialog to complete.
